If you only need the HTTP callbacks for the validate_user authentication of the SMPP Connector, you can disable the four 'Send the following items to the callback script' options in the 'HTTP callbacks' settings of the general options.

I don't need to manipulate the data or interfere with the inbound messages at all, but I am authenticating on validate_user for a shared SMPP server instance, which is the only place I might send a result=0.
I assume I wouldn't be able to reject invalid credentials in this way if I send on to the scripting/web connector?
Hello David,
With the current version of Diafaan SMS Server this is not possible. But it is a good suggestion and I will add this to the list of features for the next version of Diafaan SMS Server.
If you do not need to manipulate the data of the received message before it enters Diafaan SMS Server, you can also route the messages to a Web Connector or Scripting Connector and send an HTTP request to your server from the connector.

Is there a way to always accept a "message_in" by default, unless I explicitly return "result=0" from a callback script?
There is actually no circumstance under which I want to reject a message in, and should my callback server/script fail I still want the message to be accepted.
