Hello Muchiri,

The error 'port inaccessible' means that Diafaan SMS Server is not able to open a TCP/IP connection to the phone. It is possible that there is a firewall active between Diafaan SMS Server and the Android phone that blocks the connection. It is also possible that the IP address that the Emulator app shows is incorrect, if that is the case you might be able to find the proper IP address in the MyPublicWiFi application.

If you have a telnet program like PuTTY you can try if you can set up a telnet connection from the PC to port 10001 of the Android phone, send the 'AT' command and receive the 'OK' response. If you are not able to do this, it also won't work in Diafaan SMS Server.

Regards, Henk

Hello,
I have decided on using GSM Modem emulator since Hi-link modem are not supported by Diaffan. I have downloaded "MypubliWifi" software to create a virtual wifi hotspot that i can connect to on my phone. Everything is working Okay on Windows 10 and i can comfortably connect my samsung phone to Diaffan and send sms.
However, the challenge comes when i changed my PC and use another one running WINDOWS 7. I as well create the wifi and connect to it, but when adding gateway, Diaffan does not connect. It rather gives a message of "port inaccessible" on the log. Any work around please.

Thank you in advance.
