Hello Ali,

When you set the "TransceiverMode" option to "False", the SMPP Gateway uses two connections, a transmitter connection and a separate receiver connection. Both connections to the SMPP server use the same logon parameters for the two connections.

If your SMPP service provider requires different logon parameters for the two connection you can set up two SMPP Gateways in Diafaan SMS Server, one that only uses a transmit connection and another that only uses a receive connection. On both SMPP Gateway the "TransceiverMode" option must be set to "False" and on the General tab page, one of the SMPP Gateways must be set to "Send only" and another to "Receive only".

Regards, Henk

Dear Henk,

hope you are doing well,

I have a question regarding smpp Bind Types :
Transmitter (TX)/Receiver (RX)/Transceiver (TRX).
the operator asked me to configure 2 connection : 1 for sending and 1 for receiving , how can i configure this for Receiver only or Transmitter only ..
i have set the Transceiver Mode in advanced settings to False , what does that mean ? is Transmitter or Receiver ?

how can i assign the value to Transmitter only or Receiver only
