Hello Andrew,

This error is returned by your GSM modem when Diafaan SMS Server tries to send a message, it is not related to the trial version of Diafaan SMS Server. The trial version works exactly the same as the licensed version of Diafaan SMS Server, apart from the 30 day limit.

CMS ERROR 535 is a modem manufacturer specific error and it is therefore difficult to determine what the underlying cause of the error is. For some older Siemens modems it means PS Busy (Protocol Stack Busy) but that does not say much about the cause of this error.

It is possible that the reboot is causing problems, you can try to disable the reboot by setting the 'RebootBeforeInitialization' property in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway to 'False'. You can also try to set the 'ModemRebootTime' to '60' if you prefer to keep the reboot option active, that may give the modem more time to recover after a reboot.

Regards, Henk

I am uisng the Trail version of this software before i purchase it but after installing i do receive messages sent from friends but on the event Log i do see the following information what does it mean.

1. The GSM Modem returned +CMS ERROR: 535

2. Send modem reboot command.

3. Pause 30 seconds to let the modem complete the reboot.

Is it because is a trial version or what
