Looking at the log there could be two reasons for the errors. It is possible that the password is not sent in the right way and it is also possible that the Sierra GX450 does not support the standard GSM AT commands to send and receive the SMS messages.
You can try to log on to the Sierra GX450 manually with a telnet program like PuTTY and give the AT commands 'AT+CMGF=0' and 'AT+CGMI'. If those commands return 'OK' and the manufacturer name then the modem supports the required AT command set and there is probably a problem with the password entry. Otherwise the Sierra GX450 does not support the GSM AT command set.

I am trying to use as gateway a sierra GX450 modem with TCP/IP interface.
The modem initialization fails and when I test the communication the software returns the following log.
Any help?
