I have not tested the Siemens TC-65 myself, but some of our customers use this modem.
For mission critical systems I usually recommend a serial port modem like the Cinterion (formerly Siemens) TC/MC series or the Sierra Wireless (formerly Wavecom) Fastrack modems. They are very reliable and have no driver issues (sometimes a problem with older USB 3G modems).
If you have a server without a serial port you can use a USB to RS232 adapter.
