Yes, that is possible, but you have to set a port redirection on the NAT router so that Diafaan SMS Server can make a connection to the mobile phone over the internet. After you have set the port redirection, you can use the IP address of the router and the redirected port number when adding a new GSM Modem Gateway to Diafaan SMS Server.

There are security implications to setting a port redirection on the router, it makes the GSM Modem Emulator accessible to anyone on the internet.
