For use in the US, you can have a look at one of the MultiTech MultiConnect Cell 100 modems. We have tested the 3G model of the modem but the MultiTech Cell 100 series also has a model for 4G. However, the MultiTech MultiConnect Cell 100 modems are not LAN based, they are only available with USB or serial port connections.
ConiuGo has a LAN modem model for 4G networks but ConiuGo modems are not as easily available in the US and Canada as the MultiTech modems.

Thank you for the information, Henk, We will probably look at the Gemalto as it is a 3g model. We would probably prefer a 4g version but can't find one to purchase, let alone reach the United States. Do you have a recommendation for a LAN based 4g modem?

My company is looking at one of the Portech MV-370 modems, however, it is 2g, I would believe this is fine for running SMS as SMS doesn't utilize data but I wanted to know if anyone could give me a definitive answer if this would work before my company makes the purchase, thank you!
