Hello Clayton,

Diafaan SMS Server only directly supports scripting in C# or Visual Basic.NET. It is of course possible to use a PHP script to generate the messages and send them to Diafaan SMS Server with HTTP requests or with a shared SQL database connection or even by email.

Scripting in Diafaan SMS Server is implemented in the Scripting Connector (all editions) and the Scripting Gateway (basic- and full edition only). The Scripting Connector can be used to collect or generate messages to send and the Scripting Gateway can be used to send the message to an external SMS service provider or to another messaging provider.

The scripts are stored and run internally in Diafaan SMS Server, after you generate a Scripting Gateway or Connector, you can open the properties, select "Scripting" and click on "Edit C# script" or "Edit Visual Basic.NET script" to adapt the default skeleton script. The scripts can use the full Microsoft .NET environment and it is possible to create powerful scripts, but I recommend to keep the scripts as simple as possible.

Regards, Henk

Does your software allow me to write php code that will send sms to users, or it allows C# and VB scripts only. Also in the case of the C# and VB can you please provide a detailed document of how to send sms using them , the information in the manual is not enough as l dont know where to place the files when l was to send the sms.
