Hello,
thank you for your help, I found a similar post in your forum and so I went with the connection string: 'DSN = MyName'
and that to market. Thank you and sorry for disturbing.
Hello Blubsy,
This error indicates that there is no 64-bit version of an ODBC driver with the name 'MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver' installed on your system. The driver that you have tested with ODBC data source administrator is apparently 32-bits which won't work on the 64-bits version of Diafaan SMS Server.
You can try if you can add a new System DSN in the 64-bits version of the ODBC data source administrator. If that works then you can add it to Diafaan SMS Server with the connection string: 'DSN=MyName'. If that does not work then the 64-bit version of the MySQL ODBC driver is probably not yet installed on your system.

Hello, I am looking to connect the diafaan software to my mysql remote database.
I followed the tutorial and installed the ODBC driver and I added the following string:
Driver = {MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver}; Server = XX.XX.XX.XX; charset = UTF8MB4; Database = sms; User = userSms; Password = XXXXX; Option = 3;
But each time I have the error:
ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source Not Found and Unspecified Driver Name
And at the bottom of the window (Diafaan Edit connector properties) I have:
This version of Diafaan SMS Server requires 64-bit ODBC Drivers
When I add a system data source in the tool Administrator of data sourcesODBC (32 bits) and that I test, all is valid.
Thank you in advance for your help.
PS: sorry for the translation
