The "\Diafaan\Diafaan Message Server\" folder is located in the Program Data Windows folder, the actual location of this folder is different on different versions of Windows. On Windows Server 2003, this folder is located in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\".

Hi Henk,

On Win 2003 R2 server with SP2. I can't find any folder that says "Diafaan Message Server"

Only thing I have is
C:\Program Files\Diafaan SMS Server

In there I have some DLLs and .EXE files, I see a DiafaanMessageServer.exe.config and the lic files.
Am I missing something here?

Hello Mike,

All settings of Diafaan SMS Server are located in the folder "%ProgramData%\Diafaan\Diafaan Message Server\", you can copy the content of this folder to the new server when you want to transfer all settings. Please note that the actual location of the "%ProgramData%" folder is different on different versions of Windows.

Some of the files will be in use by Diafaan SMS Server, you have to close the Console Program and the Diafaan SMS Server service on both servers before you copy the folder.

Hello,

We are in process of installing Diafaan server basic on our permanent server and disable the currently running and licensed server in the next few days. My question is how can I move the database of the server with usernames and texts that were sent and received over to the new server?
