There are no options to increase the throughput of the HTTP Gateway, that is limited by the response time of the HTTP SMS server. But if the SMS Server allows it you can add multiple HTTP Gateways to Diafaan SMS Server to increase the total throughput.

The throughput of the SMPP Gateway can be increased by changing three properties in the advanced settings of the SMPP Gateway: 'AsyncModeWindowSize', 'MaximumBatchSize' and 'MaxMessagesPerMinute'.

1. Set the 'AsyncModeWindowSize' to the maximum value that is allowed by your SMPP provider.

2. Set the 'MaxMessagesPerMinute' property to the maximum speed that the SMPP service supports.

3. Set the "MaximumBatchSize" to 5 times the maximum speed per second you want to achieve.

A message throughput of two SMS message per second is possible with a slow HTTP server if you use the HTTP Gateway but it is excessively slow for an SMPP connection. Unless your SMS service provider actively limits the throughput to no more than two messages per second it should be a lot higher.

I would like to see the communication logs for the HTTP Gateway and the SMPP Gateway and the configuration file of Diafaan SMS Server (menu options 'File-Export-Configuration'). You can send these three files to email address 'dms@diafaan.com'.
