I emailed you the info you requested. Thanks.
If you send your company name and address details to email@example.com, I'll email you a 30-day extension of the trial license for Diafaan SMS Server - basic edition so you can do the proper tests.
There should be no problem with the 4-port GSM modem pool and the full edition of Diafaan SMS Server can use 64 GSM modem modules or more. I have never tested more than 16 GSM modems though and it might be a challenge to get so much modem modules to work reliably at the same time. Whether this works well will mainly depend on the quality of the modem modules, the capacity of the GSM network and on the distance to the nearest network cell.
My attempt to test Diafaan SMS Server with Nokia E51 failed in Sep 2013. One year passed. Now I decided to make another attempt to test Diafaan SMS Server.
After reading your recommended GSM modem, I just bought 4-port Bailingjia modem pool. I would like to request you to provide me a Diafaan SMS Server – basic edition trial version to test 4-port Bailingjia modem pool. Once the 4-port Bailingjia modem pool works with Diafaan SMS Server – basic edition trial version, I will buy the licence for Diafaan SMS Server – basic edition.
Once 4-port Bailingjia modem pool operation is established, next I will buy 64-port Bailingjia modem pool and upgrade Diafaan SMS Server – basic edition to Diafaan SMS Server – full edition.
Once 64-port Bailingjia modem pool operation is established, I want to move Diafaan SMS Server and 64-port Bailingjia modem pool to a new dedicated PC.
I seek your advice on my above plan. Thank you.
The Nokia E51, like most modern smartphones and feature phones, does not offer the functionality to receive SMS messages with an external software application. If you need to receive SMS messages with Diafaan SMS Server I recommend to use a dedicated GSM modem. You can find reviews for a number of GSM modems on the home page of this website.
I am out of options for the 'GSM0705Gateway plugin not found' error. Since I have not had any report from other users with the same problem I suspect it it an issue that is very specific to your computer. I am sorry that I am not able to offer more support for this problem.
"SMS Gateway mobile Inbox" is Nokia E51 mobile phone.
Right-click on "DiafaanMessageServer.exe" and select "Properties-Digital signatures" and the "Digital signatures" shows Name of signer: Diafaan Communication Software.
Running Diafaan SMS Server Console as administrator, GSM Modem Gateway > Status shows "GSM0705Gateway plugin not found"
Running Diafaan SMS Server Console as administrator,
Is the "SMS Gateway mobile Inbox" part of the software that came with the GSM modem? If that is the case then this software probably intercepts the received messages before Diafaan SMS Server can get them and the only solution is to close this software. When you run the two programs together, Diafaan SMS Server will not be able to receive the messages.
Can you check the "DiafaanMessageServer.exe" and "DiafaanMessageServerConsole.exe" files in the installation folder of Diafaan SMS Server? If you right-click on these files and select "Properties-Digital signatures" and the "Digital signatures" information is missing, the files are damaged, perhaps caused by a virus or other malware. If the "Digital signatures" information is available, the problem might have something to do with a missing authorization for the file. You can try if Running Diafaan SMS Server Console as administrator solves the problem.
Sent SMS from a mobile to GSM Gateway mobile number. SMS Gateway mobile Inbox contains the received SMS. But, Diafaan is not receiving yet.
Again now, GSM Modem Gateway > Status shows "GSM0705Gateway plugin not found"
The most likely cause of the problem is that destination number for the message is in a format that the GSM network does not understand. It is best to use only numbers in International number format, with a leading '+', followed by the country code and the rest of the number without leading '0' (e.g. +1xxxxxxxxxxxx).
Diafaan SMS Server has an option to change the number format just before the message is sent. You can use this if you have no control over the number formats that are sent to Diafaan SMS Server. See the online manual for more information.

Can you post the send log entry of one of the messages that was not delivered to the mobile?
In the send log, right-click on the message and select 'Copy' to copy the information to the clipboard, then paste it to this forum.
Uninstall software. Downloaded and installed new copy. added GSM Gateway. Sent text message using console. Send log show "Status: 200, Success: Message accepted by GSM modem gateway". But, have not received message in the mobile.
Sent text message using Web Connector (web browser). Send log show "Status: 200: Success: Message accepted by GSM modem gateway". But, have not received message in the mobile.
This error could be an indication that one of the program files is damaged. You can try to download the trial software again from our website and re-install it.
Another possible cause of the problem is that you installed Diafaan SMS Server on a network drive (instead of the local hard disk) that is not accessible for the built-in Windows SYSTEM account. If that is the case you should assign another (Administrator) account to the 'Diafaan SMS Server' service in the Windows 'Service Control Manager'.
I downloaded trial version and installed on my PC. Added GSM Gateway Nokia 51. GSM Modem Gateway > Status shows "GSM0705Gateway plugin not found". Any help?
