The error 'COM 56: The system cannot find the file specified' indicates that the port 'COM 65' does not exist. This could happen when the connection with the modem pool is unreliable or it could be a driver error.
You can try to use a terminal program like PuTTY to connect to the modem and send a simple AT command. If the modem responds with OK, it should work with the same communication port settings in Diafaan SMS Server. If it does not work with PuTTY it will most likely not work in Diafaan SMS Server either.

Currently on my third computer trying to connect gateway via GSM Modem...
I keep receiving multiple errors throughout this process, more common - port not accessible and no gsm modem detected. Have been able to bypass the one where it states 'serrvice diafaanmessageserver was not found on computer' on two computers, but once past it i receive these other errors of port not accessible and no gsm modem detected. I know the driver software is completely up to date as i receive a zip file and a disc from manufacturer on this. Also, the ports are acknowledged through device manager.
The events and logs report COM 56: The system cannot find the file specified
running a 64 port gsm modem.
Any suggestions on how to enable diafaan sms server to find and/or view the gsm modem is appreciated. Looking for tricks of the trade from the group...
