Diafaan SMS Server requires a modem that conforms to the 3GPP TS 27.005/3GPP TS 27.007 AT command standard. We have published a number of reviews on our website of modems that we have tested but there are many more on the market.

Unfortunately, here is no such thing as the best GSM modem, some modems work flawlessly on certain mobile networks but not on others and it is impossible to predict this in advance. In general, the newer 3G/4G modem models work better on more networks than older GSM/GPRS modems but there are no guarantees.

Hello José,

This error is generated by the mobile network and it indicates that the network is not able to handle the message traffic from the modem. You can try to lower the send speed of the GSM Modem Gateway with the 'SendDelayTime' property in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway. A delay of 2-3 seconds should be enough if the message throughput is really the problem.

Sometimes a GSM modem just does not work reliably with a particular mobile network and this can also cause this error code. If that is the case then using another modem might solve the problems.
