Hello Morten,
The Message Type property in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway settings is the default message type that is used for the GSM Modem. But as you have seen already, it is not possible to use flash messages as the default message type setting.
If you send the messages with the SQL Connector or the Web API, you can use a specific message type for each message using the MessageType SQL field or URL parameter. The message type "sms.default.flash" would perhaps be the best option.
Another option is to use the Scripting Gateway to change the message type for each message. There is some information about advanced routing using a Scripting Gateway in the online manual. In the script you can change the message type and then route the message to the GSM Modem Gateway.

Hi,
I want to send my SMS as flash sms through the GSM Modem Gateway, but i cannot find the setting in Diafaan. The manual states that i need to define it as a Message type, but the only options i have for message types are, Automatic, StandardText, Unicode and Data.
Where do i define the setting: "sms.text.flash"
From the "Send message" tab i can send a test message as sms.text.flash so i'm sure that the modem supports flash SMS.
Br,
Morten
