The settings of the POP client can also be changed by double-clicking on the Email Connector in the Diafaan SMS Server console program. If you have not already added an Email Connector to Diafaan SMS Server you can create a new Email Connector by clicking 'Add connector' in the console program. Each Email Connector can be used as an SMTP Server *or* a POP client.
In contrast to the SMTP server, the POP client has the ability to convert email to SMS and send them to multiple fixed numbers. But it is also possible to extract the destination numbers from the email message.

Is there a way to change the values of the Email Connector given in this window?

The settings of the SMTP Server can be changed by double-clicking on the Email Connector in the Diafaan SMS Server console program. However, there is no option in the Email Connector to define your own destination numbers. The destination numbers are alway extracted from the to address in the email message.

Hi,
And how can I change these Email Connector settings?
If you want to send an SMS to two numbers via the SMTP server of the Email Connector in Diafaan SMS Server you can send the message to two email addresses with the number in the email address, e.g. an email to '+123456788@anyhost.com' and '+123456789@anyhost.com' will be converted by Diafaan SMS Server to two SMS messages to numbers '+123456788' and '+123456789'.
The Email Connector does not have a way to 'define numbers', it just extracts the destination numbers from the to address in the email.

Hello Henk,
So if I'd like to define new numbers how can I do that? Making new Email Connector? The Scripting Gateway workaround would not work because I have to send the messages for 2 phone numbers.

Berci
Hello Foris,
The SMTP Server in Diafaan SMS Server sends the message to the phone number in the email 'To' address. For instance if the email address is '+123456789@anyhost.com', the email message will be converted to and SMS message and sent to phone number '+123456789'.
There is no easy way in in Diafaan SMS Server to send the message to a different phone number but you could use a Scripting Gateway to convert the destination address of all the messages to a single phone number.

Hello there,
I have a Diafaan SMS server installed by a customer and they have two phone numbers, one must be changed. The system functions currently so all the settings are in order. I see an Email Connector set and found that it should run an SMTP service. How can I change a phone number where the SMS will be sent?
Thank you in advance for your support.
