Diafaan SMS Server does not store the admin password, it only stores a hash value of the password. That means that it is not possible to retrieve the password when it is lost.

If you have set the option to ask for the password every time the console program starts up then you'll have to remove the configuration database file 'C:\ProgramData\Diafaan\Diafaan Message Server\Configuration.sqlite' after closing down the Diafaan SMS Server service and console program. But this means that all your settings will be lost.

Thanks for the reply,
I finally remembered the password.
My problem was that I could not logon to the console to get to any of the menu's to change the password, is there a way to recover the password in a case like this?

Hello Peter,

You can change the 'admin' password in the general options of Diafaan SMS Server, select 'Actions-Options-Administrator-Change password'.

Hi,
I have lost the password for the admin account to the console.
Is there any way to get it back or replace it?
It is working but I cannot make any changes, it is the lite license.
