Hello Johno,

I am no VPN expert and it is therefore difficult for me to answer this question. I can't think of a reason why the connection to the SMPP Connector would not work over a VPN connection so I think that the problem is either a configuration issue in the VPN hardware/software, a firewall problem or a problem with the IP number or port designation.

Hi Henk,

I'm trying to set up an SMPP connector on a server that is on a 1 to 1 dedicated IP VPN. I'm using port 2775 and I have checked it is open on the VPN IP. I have also checked firewall and anti-virus settings and it all works fine when the VPN is disconnected but the gateway fails to connect when going through the VPN!

Any ideas what could be causing this or how I can get around it?
