Hello Douglas,
We have not tested them ourselves but PORTech also has modems with 4G LTE modules (like the PORTech MV-370L) that should work with Diafaan SMS Server in exactly the same way as the 3G models.
There are a number of 4G modems on the market but they are sometimes hard to find in specific regions. They are also relatively expensive. We have tested the ConiuGo LAN 4G LTE modem and the Teltonika TRM240 USB 4G LTE. These are both excellent modems that work well with Diafaan SMS Server.
We also tested the MultiTech MultiConnect rCell 100 4G LTE modem but it is at the moment not entirely clear if version 6 of the firmware for this device still has the functionality that Diafaan SMS Server needs.

I would be interested as well, we previously used the PorTECH modem with great success, but AT&T shut us down on that due to retiring 3G, still looking for a 4G replacement with a similar feature set.
Hello Sialaichai,
Unfortunately, the number of 4G modems that can be used with software like Diafaan SMS Server is limited. Most modern 4G 'dongle' style USB modems do not offer access anymore to SMS using the AT commands of the modem, some have an HTTP API for SMS but that is usually very limited.
You can find the reviews for a few 4G LTE modems that we have tested successfully with Diafaan SMS Server on this websites. There are also a few mobile VoIP gateways that offer limited support for the SMPP standard and can be used with the basic- and full editions of Diafaan SMS Server. But all of the SMPP compatible VoIP devices that we tested have bugs and limitations and are only suitable for sending and receiving basic text messages. Features like long multipart messages, support for special Unicode characters etc. is often missing.

Hi.
I have been using diafaan for several years with Huawei 3G modem without any problem. Now the local telecom is shutting down 3G and switching to 4G only. I have tested several models of 4G but diafaan is not able to detect the new 4G modem. May I know if there is a list of compatible 4G modem that I can use for the transition? Thank you.very much
