Thanks for the clarification, that explains the 3 output channels.
I have made a few tests but I am not able to replicate your observations, with a 'MaxMessagesPerMinute' setting of 36 the SMPP Gateway sends a new message to the SMPP server regularly every 1-2 seconds in my tests.
It’s possible that a setting in Diafaan SMS Server is limiting message throughput in your configuration. However, without access to the configuration file, I cannot confirm this.

When I refer to 3 output channels, I mean that the SMPP server I connect to has 3 SIM cards for sending. Therefore, if I want to send 12 SMS per minute per SIM card, I should configure the SMPP gateway to send a total of 36 SMS per minute. However, this doesn't happen.
I also tested with SMPP servers that have only one output channel, but when I run tests, it doesn't work. For example, I configure a channel to send 12 SMS per minute, starting at 14:00:00. At 14:00:05, I send 6 SMS, but they remain in the queue without being sent. Then, at 14:00:30, I send another 3 SMS, but they still remain in the queue without being sent. Only when the time limit is reached (14:00:59) are they sent through the channels.
What I want is for messages to be sent immediately as they arrive. However, this only happens when I set the channel with a very high MaxMessagesPerMinute (320 SMS per minute). Only with this configuration do messages send immediately after arriving in the queue. However, with a configuration of 12 SMS per minute, this doesn't happen, despite being within the allowed range per minute.

Can you explain what do you mean with an SMPP Gateway with 3 output channels? One SMPP Gateway in Diafaan SMS Server can only have one outgoing connection to an SMPP server.
The MaxMessagesPerSecond property sets the maximum number of messages that the gateway can send in one whole minute, not necessarily evenly spreaded over the minute. If you set this value to 12 it should limit the number of messages to a maximum of 12 messages per minute. The SMPP Gateway also has a MaxMessagesPerSecond property that can be used to limit the maximum number of messages per second for SMPP servers that have a very strict throttling policy. For most SMPP servers it is better to disable the MaxMessagesPerSecond by setting it to 0.
If you do not see the throughput of 12 messages per minute when you have set the MaxMessagesPerSecond to 12 then I would like to see the configuration file of Diafaan SMS Server (menu options 'File-Export-Configuration'). You can send the file to email address dms@diafaan.com.

Hello, I'm conducting tests through an SMPP gateway, which has 3 output channels. I want each channel to send a maximum of 12 SMS per minute, so I set the MaxMessagePerMinute property to 36. However, when sending SMS, it only sends 3 every 1 minute. If I set the property to 320 per minute, it sends them correctly. Am I configuring something incorrectly? Thank you in advance!
