Hello Josue,

The SMPP Gateway in Diafaan SMS Server uses the GSM 7-bit encoding with the Data Coding Scheme (DCS) 0 by default for all messages that contain only characters from the GSM 7-bit character set. For messages that contain other characters it uses the Unicode USC2 character set with DCS 8.

There are options in the advanced settings of the SMPP Gateway to change the DCS and/or the character encoding if the SMPP server of your SMS provider uses other settings.

Hello,

My SMS provider tells me that in order to send messages using the smpp protocol I have to use GMS 7- Datacoding 0.

I have searched in the diafaan, but I can't find the GMS 7-

coding. Waiting for your comment.
