Diafaan SMS Server installation

After downloading the trial software, you can run the downloaded installation program to install Diafaan SMS Server on your computer. The install program:

1. Installs the program files in the selected program folder
2. Adds an exception for Diafaan SMS Server to the Windows firewall
3. Installs and runs the Diafaan SMS Server service
4. Starts the Diafaan SMS Server console program

Diafaan SMS Server uninstall instructions

Windows 8 and higher
1. Open the Windows menu
2. Select 'Control Panel'
3. Select 'Uninstall a program', under 'Programs'
4. Right click 'Diafaan SMS Server' and select 'Uninstall'
5. In the Diafaan SMS Server uninstaller, press Next until Diafaan SMS Server has been uninstalled

Windows 7 and lower
1. Open the Start menu
2. Select 'Control Panel'
3. Select 'Uninstall a program', under 'Programs'
4. Right click 'Diafaan SMS Server' and select 'Uninstall'
5. In the Diafaan SMS Server uninstaller, press Next until Diafaan SMS Server has been uninstalled

The uninstall program:
1. Stops and removes the Diafaan SMS Server service
2. Removes the exception for Diafaan SMS Server to the Windows firewall
3. Removes all files from the installation folder

The uninstall program does not remove user generated files like configuration data and log files. These files are located in the folder 'C:\ProgramData\Diafaan\' and can be removed manually.

Check the integrity of Diafaan SMS Server

The install program and all installed .exe files of Diafaan SMS Server are digitally signed with a certificate issued by an official root certificate provider. If one of these files is changed, for whatever reason, the digital signature is invalidated and you know that the file is not original. To check the digital signature of a file:

1. Right-click on the file and select 'Properties'
2. Select 'Digital signatures'
3. Double-click on the signature to check the validity of the signature
4. Select 'View certificate' to view the certificate in more detail

Refund policy

Try before you buy
We offer a free 30-day trial period for Diafaan SMS Server. Try out the software with your GSM modem, SMPP account or Clickatell account. The downloaded evaluation version of Diafaan SMS server is fully functional for 30 days without limitations. If you need more than 30 days to evaluate the software you can always contact us for an extension of the temporary license.

Refund policy
We offer a 30 day refund policy as outlined below.

Software Issues
If you experience an issue with your software, please contact us as we may be able to resolve the issue for you. If the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, we will issue you with a full refund of the price paid at the time of purchase.

Change of Mind
Although we encourage you to use the 30-day trial period to determine whether the software is right for you, refunds are also available for change-of-mind within 30 days of the purchase period.

Missing Coupon, Discounts, etc.
If you intended to use a coupon or discount when purchasing the software but mistakenly paid full price, please contact us and we will refund the difference between the price paid and the discount amount.

This is only valid if the applicable discount was available at the time of purchase, and you can provide proof of your eligibility for such a discount.

End User License Agreement

1. We grant you one license to install and use this software on a single computer or virtual computer at a time. If you do not agree to the following terms of this license, please uninstall and remove all copies. Before any purchase you may use the software, for evaluation purposes only, free of charge for 30 days.

2. You may install and use the software on another computer or virtual computer, but the software may not be in use on more than one computer or virtual computer at a time unless you purchase additional licenses. You may make back-up copies of the software for archival purposes. You may permanently transfer your license to use the software to another party who will be bound by this agreement, provided you do not retain any copies of the software.

3. If your license is bought as an upgrade from another version, the original license becomes invalid and may not be used anymore.

4. The software is protected by the copyright laws of your country of residence and other countries, and we retain all intellectual property rights in the software. You may not separately publish, sell, market, distribute, lend, lease, rent, or sublicense the software code.

LIMITED WARRANTY

4. We warrant that the software will provide the features and functions generally described in the product specification on our website when you purchased it and in the product documentation. Media on which the Software is furnished, if any, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

5. We have taken all reasonable steps to keep the software free of viruses, spyware, "back door" entrances, or any other harmful code. The software will not download or install patches, upgrades, or any third party software without getting your permission. We will not intentionally deprive you of your ability to use any features of the software or access to your data.

6. We do not warrant that the software or your ability to use it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY

7. Your exclusive remedy under the above limited warranty shall be, at our option, either a full refund of the purchase price or correction of the defective software or media. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for indirect or consequential damages that arise under this license agreement.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

8. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will stay in effect. This agreement does not prejudice the statutory rights of any party dealing as a consumer.

9. This agreement does not supersede any express warranties we made to you. Any modification to this agreement must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
