Hi Christian,

USB modems can have reliability problems depending on the operating system. Sometimes it helps to update the firmware and drivers of the modem.

For situations where a high availability is necessary I recommend using serial modems like the Wavecom/Siera Wireless or Cinterion/Siemens modems, directly to a serial port or via a TCP/IP connection. As a rule, these modems prove to be more reliable than USB modems and since they do not require drivers they work the same on any Windows version.

Regards, Henk

Hey.

I just try your great software on windows server 2008 with 4 Huawei E1752 modems.

The problem was that the modem died after 5-10 sendt sms messages.

After that I installed Windows 7 on the same maschine and added all 4 modems, and they are works pretty well.

I think it is the driver on Windows Server 2008 that is the problem...
Forward I use Windows 7 and try for a month to see if the problems comming back.
