I changed the sim card (to another carrier). The problem is gone now. Thank you for your support.
Thank you for the log. I can find no indication in the log that there is a problem with the connection between the modem and the network. The modem logs on to the home network (it is not roaming on another network), it uses the 4G LTE network and the signal strength is good. The only problem is that the modem does not return any response after Diafaan SMS Server sends the message. After one minute, Diafaan SMS Server then triggers a timeout error and restarts the modem.
The only thing that I can think of that you could try (apart from changing the SIM card) is to send a message with a number in National number format instead of International number format (e.g. 065xxxxxxxx instead of +4365xxxxxxxx). You could also try #4365xxxxxxxx to mix a National and International number format. I do not think this will make a difference and International number format almost always works best but it might be worth a try.
Thank you very much for your immediate response. As suggested, I´ve just sent you the communication log.
Next step from my side will be to change the sim card to another mobile telephone carrier. Signal strengths seems to be ok (Good or High). Nevertheless, I´ll move the modem to another place.
You are correct, the "Timeout error, no or unexpected response after GSM Modem command .." error means that the modem does not give a positive or negative response when Diafaan SMS Server tries to sends a message. A timeout error is often an indication of a compatibility problem between the modem and the mobile network, but since you already tried another modem it is also possible that there is an issue with your SIM card, electronic interference or a bad signal strength on the location of your modem.
I keep getting the error "Timeout error, no or unexpected response after GSM Modem command "06913496096006311D0C913456600008300000AA07E4B4BCBCA6D700"." after almost every SMS that I send. Although diafaan (4.8.2) marks these messages as "error", sms messages are sent correctly. Apparently the modem does not send the confirmation back to diafaan.
Even a change of the modem to a "ConiuGo LAN modem (which is recommended by diafaan)" did not change this behaviour. Do you have any ideas?
