The first thing you should check is whether the receiver number is shown in the receive log in the Diafaan SMS Server console program. If this is not the case then the receiver number is not included in the message information from the GSM modems.

Not all SIM cards have the phone number stored on the card when you purchase them. If the phone number is missing, you can either write it to the SIM card manually or, if you don't want the number on the SIM card, add it in the 'GSMNumber' property in the advanced settings of the GSM Modem Gateway.

The GSM Modem Gateway can help you to write the phone number to the SIM card:
- Open the GSM Modem Gateway
- Select the 'GSM modem' settings
- Press 'Test' and wait for a positive result
- Select 'Change GSM number'
- Fill in the number and press 'Write'
