Hello Adam,
You must specify both gateways in the gateway parameter of the HTTP call, separated by a semicolon, to allow Diafaan SMS Server to use both gateways to send the message. If you have defined Gateway2 as a backup gateway in the routing options of the connector, it will still be used only as a backup gateway if you specify it in this way in the HTTP call.
It is also possible to change the primary and backup gateway designations. You can find more information about the routing options in the "Message specific routing using the Gateway field" section of the Routing options of the online manual.

I have tried to send sms using gateway1 using http api and used gateway=Gateway1 parameter.
SMS send successfully when gateway1 is active and usable. But i have tried to check whether backup gateway works or not when gateway1 is down. So i remove gateway1 modem and send another sms. unfortunately it failed to sent using backup gateway.
300, Error: No active SMS gateway available to send this message
Here is the setup architecture:
Connector1> 1. Gateway1 (primary)
> 2. Gateway2 (Backup)
I'm using http api. when i dont use gateway=Gateway1 parameters backup gateway work properly.
So what i understand if gateway is defined during http api call diafaan only try to send sms using that gateway, in case if that gateway is not available it doesn't use backup gateway. But if we dont defined gateway then backup system work expected way.
Can you please add backup system even if pre defined gateway used during http api call.
