Hi Dwi,
The upgrade policy for the light edition to the basic edition is just the same. If you want to upgrade within a year, send us an upgrade request by email with your serial number or order number and you receive instructions on how to purchase the basic edition for only the price difference between the light- and basic edition.
Regards, Henk

Hello Henk,
If for now I purchase the "Light Edition" and later on (within 3 months) I upgrade to "Basic Edition", will I be allowed to pay the difference (upgrading cost) instead of paying the full purchase price of "Basic Edition"?
Awaiting your reply with thanks.
Regards/Dwi

If you upgrade from the basic edition to the full edition within a year after purchase you can send us an email with the upgrade request and we will send you a coupon code for the full purchase price of the basic edition.
After a year, you have to pay full price for the upgrade.
Updates to new versions of Diafaan SMS Server are free for a 3 year period for the basic edition and 5 years for the full edition.
Regards, Henk

Hi Henk,
Great. If I purchase the Basic Edition and later purchase the Full Edition, what would be the upgrade cost?
Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,
There is no need to re-install Diafaan SMS Server. Just load the license file you receive when you purchase your license.
If you load a license for a lower edition of Diafaan SMS Server than the edition you have installed, some of the gateways or connectors might be disabled but apart from that the configuration stays intact also after the trial expires.

Dear Henk,
I have 8 days left for the trial version. If I decide to purchase after it expires, will I need to do a new installation, or will I need to simply apply the license to the current installation?
Regards,
Mike
